In what is increasingly looking like some sort of sad experiment to see how many times one man can jump the shark in the course of one career, Andrew Sullivan suggests that he thinks there’s something hoax-ish about the 8/10 bust. (I use the wiggly language because it accurately reflects the non-committal nature of Andrew’s conspiracy theorizing.) John Podhoretz is not amused.
For those of us who began enjoying Andrew’s work on a kitsch level years ago, however, our sides are hurting we’re laughing so hard. Damn comic genius – he’s done it again!
