The Kithbridge tracker is ticking up again, probably because of Barack Obama's comments on The View today.

When are people going to wake up to the fact that the clips from pastor Wright that started the controversy aren't five isolated exceptions.

I played the clip from Obama's audio book in which he recounts the very first sermon he heard Pastor Wright preach, a sermon that Mickey Kaus noted yesterday included a denunciation of "white man's greed."

The obvious questions for the senator are (1)How often did you attend the church?  (2) Can you give us, say, 20 dates you were definitely there that we can cross check against Pastor Wright's sermons?

This is very basic investigative journalism that just isn't being done because it is Barack Obama.

UPDATE: Tom Maguire is charting the various attempts Obama has made to shake this story.

Geraghty the Indispensable and Hot Air's Ed Morrissey and Allahpundit are also pushing the MSM on the story.

Powerline's Paul Mirengoff has more as well.

UPDATE 2More from Pastor Wright.

UPDATE 3Stanley Kurtz comments on yesterday's interview with Mark Steyn on Senator Obama's autobigoraphy.  he thinks it foreshadows "the mother of all cultural battles."
