Mitt Romney's kick-off fundraising effort is going very well, according to the Globe:
Mitt Romney easily surpassed his goal for a day-long presidential fund-raiser early this afternoon as an aide announced at a star-studded phone-a-thon that the group had collected more than $1 million.
Romney campaign spokesman Kevin Madden made the announcement at about 12:30 p.m. at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, where 400 of the former governor’s biggest supporters from around the country are soliciting money in a cavernous, high-tech call center.
Another innovation in presidential politics. How's the online fund-raising going, I wonder?
