The above picture is of General Peter Pace’s highly decorated uniform. As you know, the administration has thrown General Pace under the bus while Alberto Gonzales still has a seat. Who’s driving this thing anyway?
But I come here this morning not to lament the administration’s well-documented shortcomings, but to discuss the pathetic opposition. Harry Reid, in a desperate and misguided attempt to improve on his 19% approval rating, blasted Pace as “incompetent.” Here’s a little of Peter Pace’s background from Wikipedia:
Pace was born in Brooklyn, New York to Italian-American parents, and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He received his commission in June 1967, following graduation from the United States Naval Academy. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from George Washington University.

Here’s a little of Harry Reid’s background: In less than six months, he has managed to run the Democratic majority completely into the ground. This is the man who lectures on competence?
It’s also interesting to note that Reid made these charges during a conference call with the progressive blogging community which has recently turned on him like a pack of rabid Chihuahuas. Even tough they’re foaming at their little mouths, they recognized this comment as such rank stupidity that they apparently closed ranks and didn’t report it. The comment only saw the light of day thanks to a report this morning in the Politico.
