It is Oliver Stone at his best, and because the story he is portraying was America at its best, World Trade Center is a magnificent film.

It is about courage, courage of many differnt kinds, but never a courage without fear which would not, as Aristotle wrote a long time ago, really not be courage at all.  I think every American should see it if they are of an age where the nightmares from that day are already embedded.

Jeff Jarvis has an essay on the film and some reactions to it, as well as fascinating comments.  Read it all.  And go see the movie.
