I've never been all that good at introductions, so I'll jump right in.

Hugh has graciously invited me to be your newest guest blogger. It's great to be joining Townhall family. I feel like the starstruck kid from the minors who's just been shipped up to the big leagues -- what with joining the blogging All-Stars of Hugh, Dean, Mary Katharine, and Matt Lewis.  

Some of you may know me from my blog, which I've maintained intermittently since 2001. You can blame the time crunch created by some political gigs for that, most recently at the RNC. Full disclosure: this time out, I'm doing some consulting for Rudy Giuliani's campaign. Don't be surprised to see me agitating for Rudy from time to time when it's warranted.

Mostly,  I'll be weighing in on political strategy, new media, and other sundry items of interest. I serve at the pleasure of the Blogfather, so he can kick me out to the curb when my time's up.

It's an honor to be here at the center of the conservative media revolution.
