John Lewis was a California state senator and is now a very successful political and public affairs consultant in California.  He's thinking about 1952, and he's right to do so.  Senator McCain cannot run the board, and the Romney and Giuliani comeback scenarios involve the long work of cultivating delegates.  Should Fred hang in he'll pick up more as well, and Huck will tally some in the deep south as well.
