Thomas Barnett, author of The Pentagon's New Map, was my guest today. The transcript will be here later. Mr. Barnett and I have agreed to try --for the first time on my program-- a comprehensive approach to a single book. We will, over the next two ro three months, devote an hour to each of the book's eight chapters. Given that the book is widely considered as one of the most influenbtial within the Pentagon's senior leadership circles, it is well worth your time to buy it and read one chapter ahead of the interviews.
It is a radio experiment, but one well worth trying. We will try and do most of the interviews on Tuesday, in the second hour of the program --in most places 7 PM in the east, 4PM Pacific.
