Once again, my thick-as-chowdah accent will be filling in for Hugh’s soothing tones tonight. In spite of my elocution issues, I think we’ll have an outstanding show.

Among our guests will be the Beltway Boys making their weekly appearance. Also making his weekly appearance will be Larry Kudlow, CNBC’s financial guru. Off the air, I’m planning on taking advantage of my hosting status; I think I’ll hit Larry up for some stock tips.

But the main event will be something that we’ve all been waiting for. After a long absence, Andrew Sullivan will finally make his return to the Hugh Hewitt show. Will there be fisticuffs? Fireworks perhaps? Or maybe this will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. The suspense is killing me, so I can only imagine how you feel.

In the third hour, in honor of “The Sopranos” leaving the air, I will provide my list of the Top 10 Dramatic Television Series Evah (as we say in the Bean). Although my list will be definitive, we will still welcome phone calls from misguided people who think I goofed up.

Before I leave the blogosphere for the afternoon, a substantive word regarding Hugh’s post about the atrocities being committed in the freshly birthed monstrosity known as Hamastan: Hamas was the popularly elected government in the Gaza Strip. It reflects the will of the Palestinian people. For those who fantasize about a great silent majority in that part of the world hungering for peace, the events of this week should provide a needed reality check.
