Here is the audio of the question I asked, and Senator McCain's answer, on Barack Obama's Bill Ayers problem:

The senator's demand that Senator Obama repudiate Ayers and apologize for having associated with an unrepentant terrorist made in response to my question has made it onto FNC this afternoon, with Bill Hemmer questioning Politico's Jim VandeHei about McCain's tough statement this morning..  Before too long Hillary should be issuing the same demand.  (It is odd that VandeHei is talking about the McCain demand, but I can't find a mention of it at Politico.com itself.  It is a huge story, but Politico's GOP blogger Jonathan Martin doesn't have it except via a link to my blog.  Martin does however note that Team McCain picked up the savvy CA veteran John Peshong to run the west.)

Obama's ties to Ayers and Dohrn are a serious issue which deserves and is beginning to receive the close scrutiny they deserve, and 95% of America gets that even if the hard-left doesn't.  The Guy Benson discovery of the 2007 Dohrn-Ayers SDS reunion speeches destroys the idea that Obama gets a pass because they were radicals when he was 8. 

UPDATE:Ben Smith has now posted a small item on the McCain demand for an apology, but Ben must not have either the audio or the transcript as McCain went much further than the item suggests, and McCain did not "choose" to attack Ayers, he responded to my question about the 2007 audio and the media's non-coverage of Ayers/Dohrn..
